The first training base authorized by both the International Health Qigong Federation (IHQF) and the Chinese Health Qigong Association (CHQA) was established in Lijiang city of Yunnan province, China on Dec. 26th, 2017.
Mr. Chang Jianping, the Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of IHQF, Chairman of CHQA, Ms Ma Liqiong，the Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Health Qigong Association of Yunnan province, China and persons in charge of some relevant local departments attended this event. Mr. Chang Jianping awarded the two titles Lijiang International Training Base of CHQA and Lijiang Training Base of IHQF to the Shilian culture & Media Company Limited in Lijiang, Yunnan province, China.
Mr. Chang Jianping appreciated the contribution that Yunnan province and Lijiang city has made on Health Qigong promotion. He hoped they would take the establishment of this training base as an opportunity, relying on the local resources and the worldwide concern about health, to make bigger contribution in the causes of promoting Chinese culture and spreading the Chinese concept of health. He said that both the IHQF and CHQA would provide more supports to the Lijiang Training Base on many aspects and also authorize them to hold various national and international exchange and training activities on Health Qigong, based on which to explore the operation patterns of the marketization of Health Qigong.
Lijiang city is a world-wide well-known tourist city and is famous of world cultural heritage, world intangible cultural heritage and world natural heritage with its plateau advantages for human being’s health. Ms. Ma Liqiong thanked the IHQF and CHQA for their supports on the development of Health Qigong in Yunnan province and Lijiang city. She said they would play a good role on the development of this training base and the Lijiang Training Base has been authorized to hold the International Health Qigong Competition in Lijiang, China in the year of 2018.
